London Fashion Week | Aspinal of London

The highlight of day four of London Fashion Week – and quite possibly the highlight of the whole season – was the Aspinal of London SS16 presentation.

Set in London’s Brown Hart Gardens, the space was transformed into a beautiful English garden, complete with tea, cake and champagne. The new collection of handbags was laid out on makeshift grassy mounds, while a large flower wall added colour and warmth to the space.

The much-loved classics were all there; the Aspinal of London Marylebone Tote and its accompanying mini version, the Hepburn Bag, Essential Tote, and Mini Trunk Clutch; this time, though, they were updated in bright orange, floral and butterfly prints, matte and patent tonal stripes and pony hair. New additions to the range include sleek leather bucket bags, boxy clutches and retro lady-like grab bags.

The men’s collection was equally as strong, with document cases, Mount Street and Doctors Bags in brown croc print, black and brown suede, and deep berry shades.
