    From one of the leading jewellery designers comes a vintage treat in the form of this saddle bag from Cartier.

    The Bag

    Soft luxurious Italian leather satchel with front flap opening, features a button popper fastening, Cartier branding emblem badge in gold, adjustable strap with gold buckles and two main compartments inside with pen holders and small leather pocket with folded cover.  Featuring the inscription "Les must de Cartier Paris"

    • Founded in 1847 by Louis Francois Cartier, the business had humble beginnings in an atelier on Boulevard des Italiens, Paris.

      The business went from strength to strength as it was passed down the generations with Louis II, grandson of the original creator Louis Francois, creating the first ‘flat square’ watch and later in 1932 he created the first ever ‘water tight’ watch.

      Cartier became the world’s most important watchmaker with rich and famous clients, and in 1972 Alain Perrin took over Cartier and he introduced the “Must de Cartier” and “Pasha” collections.

      The Cartier brand today is known worldwide as luxury jewellery and prestigious watch makers.
