About Brand:

Gianfranco Ferre an Italian fashion designer, known as the Architect of fashion because of his background and original attitude towards creating fashion design. He began his career in 1970 by designing accessories, and then worked as raincoat designer in 1972-1974. Ferre started his own company Baila in 1974, launching his signature collection for women in 1978. He produced his first haute couture collection for Rome in 1986, then became the stylistic director for Christian Dior in 1989, taking him until 1997 where he parted ways and went on to create his own designs, which were more relaxed than Dior. After selling his company to IT Holdings in 2002 Ferre focused on streamlining his business with the help of management expert Giuseppe Cipriano.
