There’s no escaping the ’70s trend this spring/summer; from clothes and shoes, to accessories and of course, bags, elements of the free-love era are seen in both high fashion and High Street styles. This is a trend that we at MyBag are particularly excited about. After the influx of normcore and minimalist, grungy ’90s styles, the ’70s provides something completely different – colour, print, new textures, bohemia and throw-back silhouettes.
This is a trend that can be taken on two ways; either go the whole hog with flares, platforms, floppy hat and fringed suede jacket, or incorporate one piece into your outfit with a bag or shoe, giving a subtle nod to the trend.
We’ve got the perfect bags to work the ’70s this spring/summer (pssst – ’70s is a major trend for AW15 too so they’ll easily carry you into next season); take a look at some of our favourites below.
