Blue and white is a classic colour combination; a navy blue adds sharpness to a clean white, while pale blues and whites create a fresh, soft look for summer. For SS15, Baum und Pferdgarten and Vionnet combined the two for their collections, while the likes of Valentino went for head-to-toe looks of full white or blue. This Bank Holiday, we’re taking inspiration from these designers and will be incorporating various hues of blue and white into our wardrobes.

We’re hoping it will be sunny enough for some statement sunglasses from classic brand Ray-Ban, or quirky, retro-inspired styles from Wildfox. For our bags, The Cambridge Satchel Company, Grafea and Lauren Ralph Lauren have a selection of on-trend and classic styles, while new collaboration Tiffany Cooper x Karl Lagerfeld is a playful collection that will add a bit of fun to any outfit.

With a wardrobe mostly made up of timeless classics, you’ll find me investing in great quality accessories that are both long-lasting and on-trend. When I’m not writing about fashion and style I’m… writing about fashion and style on my personal blog, dreaming up my next holiday or continuing my research on the best glass of Prosecco in Manchester.
