You’re all ready for your summer holiday; you’ve packed your suitcase, and you’ve planned all of your outfits for while you’re away with acute precision. But what about your airport look? Thanks to the rise of ‘airport style’, with celebrities being snapped looking stylish and put-together despite just getting off a long-haul flight, leggings and a jumper will no longer cut it.

The key to your airport look lies in getting the right balance between being comfortable and looking chic; think sleek flats paired with jeans or culottes, a light shirt or Breton top, and a tailored jacket. In true celebrity style, a pair of sunglasses is a must; hopefully your landing destination will be sunny so you’ll need them from a practical point of view, plus they’ll hide any dark circles if you’ve had an early morning to catch your flight.

A big tote is also a great piece to take while travelling, as it will fit in all of your essentials whilst still looking sophisticated. Finally, an oversized scarf will prevent you from feeling the chill of the airplane’s air conditioning and is a chic addition to any outfit.
