London Fashion Week is over for another season, and as always, it was one full of variety, beautiful clothes and accessories.

Here at MyBag we’ve been reliving everything that happened during our fash-packed few days in the capital and are getting excited for AW15 – is it bad that we kind of want to skip summer?!

The seventies prevailed once again this season, with everyone from Burberry, Paul Smith and House of Holland embracing the decade and updating it for 2015. Suede, fur (both faux and real), wide leg trousers, vintage-y floral bohemian dresses, and fringing were constants in a lot of collections – expect to see a lot of it in accessories come Autumn (we especially loved Burberry’s tan suede fringed hobo bags).

Orange was a big colour to take to the runways. Paired with light grey at Alexander McQueen and Christopher Raeburn, it was a real stand out colour among the sea of dark tones of red, purple, olive green and navy.

Another trend that you can expect to see is dark, wintery floral prints. Seen at Markus Lupfer, Burberry and Bora Aksu, floral was given a luxurious twist for Autumn/Winter. Speaking of prints, we saw tartan and checks at Paul Smith, Vivienne Westwood and Aspinal X Etre Cecile – expect to see it on leather backpacks, clutches and tote bags.

Along with all the new collections, we love to see the eclectic street style that London’s fashion crowd has to offer. Never afraid to clash prints, wear bright colours and stand out, creativity seeps out from every cobble of Somerset House. Here are just a few that really caught our eye…

Shop the look: The Cambridge Satchel Company Satchel in Lemon

A bright yellow satchel brightens up a grey and black outfit, while this classic tote bag adds more colour and a classic look to this fashionista’s outfit.

This woman is already working the 70s trend – we love her suede shoulder bag. Meanwhile, colour rules for this stylish threesome and adds a sense of fun to their outfits.

With a wardrobe mostly made up of timeless classics, you’ll find me investing in great quality accessories that are both long-lasting and on-trend. When I’m not writing about fashion and style I’m… writing about fashion and style on my personal blog, dreaming up my next holiday or continuing my research on the best glass of Prosecco in Manchester.
