Five Ways to Wear PINKO

This week we’re saying Buongiorno to Italian brand PINKO, famed for its hand crafted leathers, subtle shades and statement embellishments.  From the ultimate girly millenial pink shade to bold, and beautiful badges, there’s nothing quite like a handbag that does ALL the talking.

This season PINKO brings us an array of luxury leather in a plethora of prints and patterns, from chic Parisienne tweeds to an embellished jungle theme. When choosing a statement investment piece like PINKO, it’s all the more important to dress the part, yes your handbag is going to do the talking, but what is it saying about your #OOTD. Although outfit options could go on indefinitely, we’re here to talk the five staple ways to wear PINKO this SS18.

1. Camouflage

In true 90s Spice Girls fashion camouflage is back. With retro inspiration trickling through styles from street to chic, this print is one that can be matched with anything but for summer it has to be white. Although for many a good reason we’re all terrified of attempting an all white ensemble – coffee, red wine, pasta, need we go on? – a pair of cigarette trousers and subtly detailed blouse or a simple jumpsuit are just a few ways to do summer BBQ with the perfect Milanese attitude (without going too real housewives).

2. Simple yet Effective

Apart from the overwhelming love you immediately feel when looking at it, the name for the PINKO Love bag originates with the love birds meeting on the clasp. Here we promote the mantra that an accessory is used to accessorise and with embellishment as a key trend for SS18 it’s fair to say PINKO takes first place. For a summer’s evening a casual dress goes a long way, double up a floor length beach number by pairing with sliders and go day-to-night by adding statement jewellery and a heel.

Alternatively, let the bag do the talking with a smart skirt and shirt. Add heels or trainers, the loud proud attitude of a PINKO bag calls for street style innovation at every given opportunity.

3. Girly

This doesn’t have to mean a pink floral gown, a smart suit skirt and minimal floral blouse goes a long way and so does simple black Love bag. Just the right size to fit everything you actually need, add sock boots for a smart casual twist.

4. The Mackintosh Effect

Macs are back (especially in England), and a transitional rain coat goes a long way to bridge the gap between seasons and save any last minute look. To dominate the room let the coat do the talking and accessorise with a little black Love, choose metallic edging for extra sass.

5. Dress & Sliders

Smart casual is king (or queen). Add a belt to define the waist of an oversized blazer or jacket and make it a statement summer dress and pair with sliders for the go-to easy summer look. A cute white or pastel bag is a summer staple and the PINKO Foglio adds the perfect tropical element, just think palm beach meets Arizona rainforest.
