Established to provide the everyday traveller with the perfect bags and accessories, Vancouver-based Herschel Supply Co. creates backpacks, laptop bags, wallets, rucksacks and accessories that are functional yet have the style-conscious in mind. A family company, it was founded in 2009 by brothers Jamie and Lyndon Cormack, who named their brand after the small town where three generations of their family grew up.
This personal attachment to the brand is evident in the strong attention to detail and design, with the use of utilitarian features found in earlier hiking backpacks and travel bags, such as key clips and pocket sleeves – making the bags just as useful as they are beautiful. Through modernising nostalgic products, the brothers have created a brand that will stand the test of time, all while being truly contemporary.
The Herschel Supply Co. SS15 collection is influenced by the endless, carefree days of summer, with a new adventure around every corner. Sun-washed hues of yellow, white, mango and flamingo make up the collection, while tropical leaf prints transport us to hazy beach days and army-inspired backpacks reawaken our adventurous spirits.
