London Collections Men – or LCM, to those in the know - is one of the focal events of the fashion calendar; showcasing the best male style that British designers have to offer, LCM is now in its eighth season, with five days of cutting-edge exhibitions, presentations and showcases to visit. Arguably the younger, edgier brother of London Fashion Week, LCM is the place to be for bloggers, celebrities and trendsetters; this year over 100 designers will gather to display their collection previews in the BFC Show Space at 180 Strand.

If you’re heading into the capital today in anticipation of LCM, why not discover some of our favourite London haunts when you’ve got some time to kill? Whether you're in the mood for champagne, oysters or cupcakes, here are some of MyBag's favourite hotspots...

The Primrose Bakery | Tavistock Street

Primrose Bakery London

A mere five minute stroll from 180 Strand, the Primrose Bakery is the perfect place for a pick-me-up before heading to a show. With retro pastel decor and thickly iced cupcakes, this little slice of sixties heaven is a blogger favourite - did someone say Instagrammable?

Adventure Bar | Covent Garden

Adventure Bar London

An underground Labyrinth, this weird and wonderful cocktail bar was once a wine cellar, but is now illuminated by neon lights and filled with the sound of thumping music. Be here to be seen - this is the ultimate cool-kids haunt.

Kaspar's | The Savoy

Kaspars London

If you’re searching for a little luxury after a day of fashion, look no further than Kaspar’s. Inspired by the elegance and decadence of the Twenties and Thirties, this drop-dead-gorgeous Art Deco fish restaurant specialises in oysters and lobster.

Cellar Door | Aldwych

Cellar Door

Edgy and intimate, the tiny Cellar Door bar in Aldwych is the home of live music and delicious cocktails. With an unapologetic Thirties feel, Cellar Door channels a New York City basement vibe; to get inside, just head down the stairs - which are planted in the middle of the street.

Ladurée | Covent Garden

Laduree

Located in the iconic Market Bulding, Ladurée is an authentic French patisserie and tea salon, serving delectable food, pots of tea and chilled champagne. Only popping in for a quick cuppa? Take a box of macarons to go - but don't eat them all at once.

Lover of statement accessories, scented candles, anything pink and a little bit of sparkle. A Southern girl in Manchester, when I’m not drooling over designer handbags I can be found fashion blogging, or exploring my new Northern home. My signature look? A nude lip and a very flamboyant pair of shoes.
